🚀 Demand Generation Manager | Defence & Security

📍 Putney, London | Hybrid - 3 days in the office
💷 £50,000 - £65,000 + benefits

Are you a demand generation specialist who enjoys turning great marketing into measurable commercial results? Are you at your best when you can combine strategy, data and hands-on execution? If so, this could be a great opportunity to take ownership of demand generation across a growing portfolio of events, membership, directory and jobs products within the Defence & Security sector.

🎯 The opportunity

We're looking for a Demand Generation Manager to build and lead the demand generation engine across a portfolio of established products. Reporting to the Head of Marketing, you'll have real ownership across audience growth, lead generation, nurture and conversion, with the opportunity to shape how demand is generated, measured and optimised. This isn't a role where you'll simply brief agencies and wait for reports. You'll be expected to get into the detail, test, learn and optimise - whilst keeping sight of the bigger commercial picture.

🔥 What you'll be doing

You'll take ownership of:

  • Demand generation strategy - developing and executing multi-channel programmes that generate high-intent demand.
  • Audience growth & lead generation - growing traffic, audiences and qualified leads across the portfolio.
  • Paid & organic channels - working across paid media, search, social, partnerships and referral.
  • Lead nurture - building automated, always-on nurture journeys that move prospects towards conversion.
  • Data & performance - using metrics such as CPL, CAC, conversion rates, traffic and engagement to make better decisions.
  • CRO & testing - continually improving landing pages, emails, paid activity and content journeys.
  • Collaboration - working closely with campaign, brand, content and marketing operations teams, as well as external agencies.
  • People management - managing and developing a Demand Generation Executive.
  • Budget ownership - allocating investment across channels based on performance and commercial priorities.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
