About commercetools
Real innovation starts with a strong foundation, and at commercetools, that comes from the perfect balance of our product and our people. Behind every leap forward is a collective of builders, explorers, doers, makers, and problem-solvers. The kind of people who not only created composable commerce but also shaped the culture of experimentation that idea unlocked. Together they are the engine of commerce innovation today.
At commercetools, we power the next era of commerce for our customers. Whether it’s AI-driven solutions that help enterprises make smarter business decisions, bridging digital and physical shopping experiences, or enabling entirely new ways for industries to connect with their customers, we help the world’s most ambitious companies experiment, scale, and grow without limits.
Here the best idea wins, not the loudest voice. You will have the tools, trust, and space to not only build the future of commerce, but to build your own.
Your Impact
As Demand Generation Manager, Healthcare & Life Sciences, you will own pipeline generation for commercetools within the Healthcare and Life Sciences vertical spanning pharma, medical device manufacturers, healthcare distributors, and health & wellness retail/DTC brands. You sit within the Demand Generation team and are responsible for turning vertical-specific insight into campaigns, programs, and events that generate qualified pipeline.
- Campaign Strategy & Execution: Build and run the full-funnel demand gen plan for Healthcare & Life Sciences multi-channel campaigns, ABM programs, and always-on nurture tracks targeting priority accounts and personas in the sector.
- Event & Field Marketing: Identify and prioritize the industry events, conferences, and executive roundtables (e.g., HIMSS, DTC/pharma commerce events) where the vertical's buyers show up, and own end-to-end planning, budget, and follow-up to convert attendance into pipeline.
- ABM Program Ownership: Partner with Sales and RevOps to identify target account lists in Healthcare & Life Sciences and design tailored ABM plays (direct mail, targeted ads, personalized landing pages, 1:1 outreach support) for key accounts.
- Channel & Program Selection: Determine the right mix of channels — paid media, webinars, syndicated content, partner co-marketing, industry publications/newsletters to reach compliance-conscious, risk-averse healthcare buyers, and manage budget allocation across them.
- Use Case Activation: Take use cases, case studies, and messaging developed by Product Marketing and translate them into campaign assets, landing pages, and outreach sequences suited to this audience.
- Pipeline Reporting & Optimization: Own and report against pipeline/MQL/SQL targets for the vertical; run test-and-learn cycles across campaigns and continuously optimize based on performance data.
- Sales & BDR Alignment: Work closely with Sales and BDR teams covering Healthcare & Life Sciences accounts to ensure campaigns are timed, targeted, and followed up on effectively.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

What Sets You Apart
You're a creative, execution-oriented marketer who's comfortable owning a number and figuring out the fastest path to it. You know how to translate industry nuance into campaigns that resonate with a specific, often risk-averse buyer, and you're equally comfortable planning an executive dinner and building a paid ABM sequence.
You bring:
- 3–5 years of experience in Demand Generation, Field Marketing, or Growth Marketing within B2B SaaS
- Hands-on experience running multi-channel campaigns and ABM programs, from concept through to pipeline reporting.
- Experience planning and executing field events, executive roundtables, or conference presence that reliably convert into pipeline.
- Strong collaboration skills, comfortable working closely with Product Marketing (who provide use cases), Sales, and RevOps.
- Proficiency with marketing and campaign tooling such as HubSpot, DemandBase, Navattic, and standard reporting/attribution tools.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
- AI Aptitude: a genuine curiosity for using AI tools to work smarter; for campaign ideation, content drafting, targeting, or reporting and a drive to put them into practice.
