Demand Generation Specialist
Milton Keynes - Hybrid
Up to £40,000
We’re delighted to be partnering with an established B2B technology business in Milton Keynes who have created a brand new role for a Demand Generation Specialist with a very clear objective:
Generate demand. Nurture it. Convert it. Prove what worked.
In this role, you’ll build and deliver campaigns designed to attract the right audiences, nurture their interest and turn marketing engagement into genuine sales opportunities.
The best bit? You’ll be marketing to marketers! You’ll be marketing a technology solution to people who understand marketing themselves. You’ll be creating marketing campaigns that give them an opportunity to engage and solve a problem for the businesses they work for.
What will you actually be doing:
Demand generation campaigns
You’ll take campaigns from initial idea through to lead delivery. One month you might develop an industry eBook designed to attract a new audience. The next, you could be promoting a webinar, building a product campaign or creating a multi-channel journey for a particular sector. You’ll look beyond impressions and clicks to understand what generated interest, what converted into qualified leads and ultimately what contributed to pipeline.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Experience fit

Only hits
No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.
Nurture & marketing automation
There is already an established audience to work with. Your challenge is figuring out how to turn more of that audience into genuine leads and opportunities. You’ll build and optimise automated nurture journeys, segment audiences, experiment with messaging and look at where prospects engage, where they disappear and what you can change to improve conversion.
LinkedIn will be a major demand generation channel across both paid and organic activity. You’ll use it to build awareness, engage the right B2B audiences, drive traffic and generate new leads, testing different approaches and using the results to continually improve performance.
You’ll probably enjoy this role if...
- You’re currently working as a Senior Marketing Executive, Demand Generation Executive, hands-on Marketing Manager or similar, with experience generating B2B leads
- You understand B2B marketing, especially technology or services, where there’s no tangible product
- You understand how to move prospects through a B2B marketing funnel and ultimately towards becoming an opportunity
- You’ve used LinkedIn to generate leads
- You enjoy looking at campaign performance and figuring out what to improve and how to pivot
- You’re interested in how AI, automation and new marketing technology can make campaigns more effective
