Mirfield | Full-Time, Permanent
Up to £47,000 base salary

Elevation Recruitment Group is working with a leading FMCG business based in Mirfield to recruit an experienced Demand Planner. This is an excellent opportunity for a planning professional to join a fast-paced, consumer-facing environment where accurate forecasting directly shapes business performance.

This role sits at the heart of the supply chain function, with a clear focus on B2C demand across a diverse product range. You'll be responsible for developing robust forecasts, working closely with sales, marketing, and commercial teams to understand demand drivers, and ensuring the business is positioned to meet consumer needs efficiently.

The Role:

  • Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts across the B2C product portfolio
  • Analyse historical sales data, market trends, and promotional activity to refine forecasting models
  • Collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, and Commercial teams to capture demand signals and upcoming activity
  • Lead monthly demand planning meetings as part of the wider S&OP process
  • Monitor forecast accuracy and bias, continuously improving forecasting methodology
  • Work with the Supply Planning team to ensure alignment between demand and supply
  • Identify risks and opportunities within the demand plan and communicate these proactively
  • Support new product introductions and promotional planning with accurate demand input

About You:

  • Proven experience as a Demand Planner within an FMCG or fast-moving consumer environment
  • Strong understanding of B2C demand dynamics, seasonality, and promotional impact
  • Confident using demand planning software and advanced Excel skills - ideally with exposure to Microsoft Dynamics/D365
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders across the business
  • Experience contributing to S&OP processes
  • A proactive, detail-oriented approach with the ability to manage multiple priorities
