Demand Planner

£50,000–£60,000 + Bonus | South-West London | Hybrid

I’m partnering with a growing consumer goods business looking to recruit an experienced Demand Planner to join its supply chain team.

This is a key role within the business, taking ownership of the demand planning and forecasting process and working closely with Sales, Commercial, Supply Chain and Operations to ensure the business has an accurate view of future demand.

You’ll play an important role in the monthly S&OP process, using historical performance, commercial plans, customer activity and market trends to build and challenge forecasts. You’ll identify potential risks and opportunities, improve forecast accuracy and ensure key stakeholders are aligned around the demand plan.

There will also be plenty of opportunity to improve existing planning processes, reporting and forecasting methodologies as the business continues to grow.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
