Demand Planner (12-18 Month FTC) – Scunthorpe/Hybrid – Competitive Salary
Elevation Recruitment Group is proud to be partnering exclusively with a leading manufacturing business in Scunthorpe that is looking to recruit a Demand Planner to support their business on a 12-18 month contract.
As the Demand Planner, you'll own the monthly S&OP cycle end to end and bring demand, supply and production together into a single plan that keeps customers happy and the operation running efficiently.

- Flexible hybrid working (3 days in the office / 2 days from home. You select which days best work for you)
- 37.5 hours per week with an early 1pm finish every Friday (flexi time)

Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and lead the monthly S&OP cycle, facilitating Demand Review, Supply Review, Pre-S&OP and Executive S&OP meetings
- Consolidate demand, supply, inventory and financial assumptions into one operating plan
- Develop and maintain rolling 3, 6, 12 and 24 month forecasts, working with Sales, Product Management and Projects to improve accuracy
- Translate forecasts into material, supply and capacity requirements, identifying gaps and recommending mitigation plans
- Build and maintain finite production schedules, releasing and prioritising work orders
- Run and review MRP outputs, managing lead times, safety stocks and reorder policies
- Maintain planning data integrity within the ERP system and support process and system improvements
- Support new product introduction, product transitions and end-of-life planning

Previous Experience:
- A background in demand planning or supply chain planning
- Strong understanding of S&OP or Integrated Business Planning principles
- Hands-on ERP/MRP experience (IFS would be a real advantage)
- Advanced Excel skills
- Confident communicator
