Demand Planner, Direct Markets - Tangle Teezer

Demand Planner – Tangle Teezer (BIC World)

About the Role

Tangle Teezer is a global brand with a simple mission—to give everyone healthier-looking hair with less breakage since 2007. Our gentle brushes support every hair type and routine, helping you achieve confidence in your daily style.

As part of BIC World, we reimagine everyday essentials in sustainable and responsible ways. Our culture is built on a "roll up your sleeves" attitude, empowering self-starters to innovate and deliver meaningful global impact.

The Role

As the Demand Planner, you will:

  • Create and maintain accurate, rolling 18-month forecasts for Tangle Teezer’s Direct markets, leveraging historical trends, sell-through data, and sales plans.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Distributor partners to own the forecast, ensuring:
    • High forecast accuracy
    • Optimised stock levels
    • Clear identification of risks/opportunities versus the financial budget.
  • Produce forecasts using statistical models and best practices — even when data is limited.

Your Responsibilities

You’ll play a critical role in:

  • Generating demand forecasts from inventory, sell-through metrics, and historical trends.
  • Working with Planning Teams (internal and distributor partners) to refine forecasts.
  • Using statistical models to improve demand plans where historical insights are scarce.
  • Collaborating with Production & Purchasing Planners to align forecasts with manufacturing potential.
  • Partnering with Customer Experience teams to ensure product availability meets customer needs.
  • Highlighting risks/opportunities during the monthly Sales & Operations Planning process.
  • Supporting Product Lifecycle Management, including reviewing ABC classifications.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
