Description
The Demand Planning Business Partner will deliver the most accurate yet simple insight-driven volume forecast possible for the business in order to secure the best availability, stock, and inventory levels and minimal write-offs. Support the business to become a leading brand in wellbeing drinks. The right person for this role will have a mindset for change and desire to move things forward and a real passion for identifying clear and simple processes and ways of working.
Key Responsibilities
- Own a demand forecast that allows the UK team the ability to have the appropriate stock required to deliver our plan.
- Work with UK commercial teams to ensure our planning and growth projects have demand and supply thinking embedded.
- Deliver clear and simplified reporting and insight that communicates the definitive story on business volume performance and bias.
- Work with the commercial teams and Supply Chain business to identify improved ways of working on non-value-adding parts of forecasting.
- Bring the definitive view on the UK volume forecast (and budget) to ensure we have consistent supply, stock, and availability for all of our portfolio and retailers.
- Delivering killer insights to the business on our forecasting and availability – what is working, what issues are we having, and how do we manage trends and market insight to improve forecasting and performance.
- Find ways to produce a simple but effective forecast using algorithms, technology, and new ways of working to reduce time spent on forecasting for the UK commercial teams to allow them to add value in their expertise areas.
- Bring a balanced challenge and support model to the current business plans in customer and portfolio interventions to ensure we are delivering our key volume plans.
- Work with the team to bring knowledge and insight to business ideas.

Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise
- Strong communication skills with multiple stakeholders to ensure connections between UK functions and Supply are strong.
- Ability to prioritise, organise, and plan.
- An ability to look outside to help look at different ways of working to make the UK business best in class.
- Proficiency in handling multiple accounts and workstreams.
- Good skill set & knowledge of Excel.
- High learning agility – especially on IT systems such as Blueplanner and SAP.
