We are currently looking for a Demand Planning Expert who will be integral to driving high-level performance across Lovehoney Group. Partnering directly with Commercial, Category Management, Finance, and Supply Planning teams, your focus will be on delivering accurate, data-driven demand forecasts that support product availability, optimize inventory investment, and enable commercial growth. In this role, you will combine your analytical expertise with your commercial insight to continuously improve forecast accuracy and planning performance. You will develop skills crucial to advancing in a competitive, fast-paced retail sector, all within a company that prizes dedication and results.

What You Will Do

  • Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts across categories, channels, and markets, combining statistical forecasting with commercial insight and incorporating promotions, product launches, and market trends.
  • Partner with Commercial, Category Management, Marketing, Finance, and Supply Planning teams to create a robust consensus demand plan, challenging assumptions, and ensuring timely, high-quality inputs.
  • Analyse forecast performance and planning KPIs, including forecast accuracy, forecast bias, and service levels, identifying risks, opportunities, and actions to improve planning performance.
  • Support the Integrated Business Planning (IBP) process by preparing demand planning outputs, presenting insights, and providing recommendations to support informed business decisions.
  • Act as the subject matter expert for demand planning systems, forecasting methodologies, and data, driving continuous improvement through automation, advanced analytics, and AI-enabled forecasting techniques.

What You Should Bring

  • Significant experience in Demand Planning or Forecasting, ideally within retail, ecommerce, or FMCG.
  • Strong understanding of forecasting methodologies, demand planning principles, and S&OP / Integrated Business Planning processes.
  • Experience using demand planning and forecasting systems, with advanced Excel skills and the ability to analyse and interpret large datasets; Power BI experience is desirable.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable business insights and influence cross-functional stakeholders.
  • A continuous improvement mindset, with experience enhancing planning processes, systems, and data quality; exposure to automation, AI, or advanced analytics is desirable.
