Interim Demand Planning Manager/Senior Demand Planner

We’re partnering with a growing international food brand to recruit an Interim Demand Planning Manager/Senior Demand Planner to join the team on a fixed-term basis.

This is an exciting opportunity to take full ownership of demand planning while also contributing to a variety of wider supply chain projects within a fast-paced, growing business.

As Interim Demand Planning Manager/Senior Demand Planner, you will be responsible for leading the demand planning process, ensuring accurate forecasts and supporting the wider business with robust, commercially focused insight.

You will also have the opportunity to get involved in a range of supply chain initiatives, working cross-functionally to improve processes, planning and overall supply chain performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the demand planning process across the business
  • Own and maintain accurate, robust demand forecasts
  • Work closely with commercial, supply chain and other cross-functional teams
  • Provide clear insight and analysis to support business decisions
  • Identify opportunities to improve forecasting accuracy and planning processes
  • Contribute to wider supply chain projects and initiatives
  • Support the business through a period of growth and change
  • Help drive best practice across demand planning and the wider supply chain

Requirements

We’re looking for an experienced Demand Planner or Demand Planning Manager, from an FMCG background, who can step into the role and make an immediate impact.

You’ll ideally have:

  • Strong experience in demand planning, forecasting or a closely related supply chain role
  • Experience working within a fast-paced FMCG / food /beverage environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
  • A hands-on, commercially minded approach
  • Be based in or near London and be available to start at short notice
