For over 100 years, Champneys has been at the forefront of health, wellbeing and hospitality. As we continue to evolve and inspire our guests, we're looking for a talented and passionate Demi Chef de Partie to join our kitchen brigade.
This is an exciting opportunity for a chef who is ready to develop their skills, broaden their experience and be part of a team that takes genuine pride in delivering exceptional food. You'll work alongside experienced chefs, contribute to menu execution and help create nutritious, beautifully presented dishes that support the Champneys philosophy of healthy living.
What You'll Be Doing
As a Demi Chef de Partie, you'll play an important role in the day-to-day operation of the kitchen, helping to consistently deliver outstanding food across breakfast, lunch and dinner services.
Your Responsibilities Will Include
- Preparing and presenting high-quality hot and cold dishes to Champneys standards.
- Supporting the kitchen team across all service periods, ensuring a smooth and efficient operation.
- Working closely with senior chefs to develop your culinary skills and gain experience across different sections of the kitchen.
- Assisting with the development of new dishes and menu ideas.
- Supporting and encouraging junior chefs and trainees within the brigade.
- Maintaining the highest standards of food hygiene, cleanliness and food safety.
- Following HACCP procedures and ensuring all required kitchen records are completed accurately.
- Delivering excellent guest interactions when working in guest-facing areas.
- Contributing to a positive, collaborative and high-performing kitchen culture.

We're seeking someone who:
- Has experience working within a professional kitchen environment.
- Is passionate about food and committed to continuous learning.
- Takes pride in producing dishes to a consistently high standard.
- Has a positive attitude and enjoys working as part of a team.
- Understands the importance of food safety, hygiene and allergen management.
- Is organised, reliable and able to perform under pressure.
- Wants to build a long-term career within a quality hospitality business.
