Role Overview

As a Demi Chef de Partie at the Haymarket Hotel, you will play a crucial role in our kitchen operations. You will work closely with our experienced culinary team to deliver high-quality dishes, ensuring each plate meets our exacting standards. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting in the preparation and presentation of a diverse range of dishes.
  • Ensuring the highest standards of food quality, taste, and presentation.
  • Supervising and supporting a small team, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.
  • Monitoring stock levels and managing ordering for your section.
  • Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised kitchen area.
  • Communicating effectively with the team to ensure smooth kitchen operations.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a similar role within a high-pressure, fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to excellence.
  • A genuine passion for food and culinary innovation.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Leadership qualities to supervise and motivate team members.
