As a Demi Chef de Partie - Pastry, you will play a crucial role in our kitchen, specializing in the art of pastry. You will work closely with our talented culinary team to prepare and present high-quality desserts and baked goods, contributing to the exceptional dining experience we offer our guests. Your creativity, attention to detail, and dedication to perfection will shine in this role.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and presentation of pastries, desserts, and baked goods for lunch and dinner services.
- Ensure consistency and quality in every dish, following our high standards and recipes.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to manage kitchen operations efficiently, especially during busy service periods.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe work environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Participate in menu development, bringing innovative ideas and seasonal ingredients into our offerings.
- Manage inventory and assist with ordering supplies to ensure the kitchen is well-stocked.
What you Need
- Previous experience in a pastry chef role, preferably in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen.
- Strong knowledge of pastry techniques and a passion for creating delectable desserts.
- Confidence in kitchen operations and the ability to work efficiently under pressure.
- A team player with excellent communication skills and a positive attitude.
- A commitment to upholding the highest standards of quality and hygiene.
