Are you passionate about pastry? Do you thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced kitchen environment? Firmdale Hotels is looking for an enthusiastic and talented Demi Chef de Partie - Pastry to join our highly successful team at the prestigious Ham Yard Hotel.

As a Demi Chef de Partie - Pastry, you will play a crucial role in our kitchen operations. You will assist in preparing and presenting high-quality pastry dishes for lunch and dinner service. Working closely with our experienced culinary team, you will ensure that each dish meets our exacting standards and delights our guests.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation and presentation of pastry dishes for lunch and dinner services
  • Maintain high standards of food hygiene and safety
  • Oversee the kitchen during service, ensuring efficiency and smooth operations
  • Assist with ordering and stock control to maintain kitchen inventory
  • Train and supervise junior kitchen team members
  • Ensure attention to detail in all aspects of food preparation and presentation

What you Need:

  • Pleasant experience in a similar role within a busy kitchen environment
  • Experience in supervising a small team
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • Attention to detail and a passion for pastry
  • Knowledge of ordering and stock control procedures
