Full-time | Monday to Friday
Monday-Thursday: 8:20am-5:20pm
Friday: 8:20am-4:20pm

Ruabon Road Dental Practice, located in the heart of Wrexham town centre, is looking for a friendly and enthusiastic Dental Receptionist/Administrator to join our welcoming team.
Our well-established practice provides both NHS and private cosmetic dentistry, and we pride ourselves on creating a friendly, professional experience for every patient.

About The Role
As part of our team, you'll be the first point of contact for our patients, creating a warm and professional welcome while helping the practice run smoothly.
You'll have a varied role, combining patient care, reception and administration. You'll work closely with the clinical and wider team and will play an important part in ensuring our patients receive an excellent experience from their first enquiry onwards.

Your main responsibilities will include:
- Welcoming and checking in patients
- Managing reception and keeping the patient journey running smoothly
- Booking, managing and confirming appointments
- Answering telephone, email and website enquiries
- Responding to new patient enquiries
- Presenting treatment plans and processing payments
- Creating and maintaining accurate patient records
- Coordinating dental laboratory work
- Following up missed appointments and outstanding payments
- Explaining available services to patients in a friendly and professional manner
- Supporting the clinical and management teams with administration as required
- Maintaining patient confidentiality at all times
About You
We're looking for someone who is:
- Friendly, confident and professional
- Warm and approachable with excellent customer service skills
- A clear and confident communicator
- Organised, accurate and reliable
- Comfortable using IT systems (dental software experience is helpful but not essential)
- Proactive and able to use their own initiative
- Adaptable and comfortable working in a busy environment
- Able to work well both independently and as part of a team
- Previous reception, administration or customer-facing experience is essential
