Dental & Medical Receptionist – South Kensington Medical and Dental

We Are Hiring

We are looking for a friendly, confident, and highly organised Dental & Medical Receptionist to join our team at South Kensington Medical and Dental, a busy private multidisciplinary practice in the heart of South Kensington.

Our practice provides a wide range of private dental and medical services, and we are looking for someone who can deliver an exceptional patient experience while helping to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the practice.

The Role

As a Dental & Medical Receptionist, you will be an important part of the patient journey and the wider clinical team.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Welcoming patients and providing a professional, friendly, and efficient reception service
  • Answering telephone calls, emails, and patient enquiries
  • Booking and managing dental, hygiene, GP, nurse, and blood test appointments
  • Managing clinicians' diaries and helping to maximise appointment utilisation
  • Registering new patients and maintaining accurate patient records
  • Taking payments, issuing receipts, and assisting with outstanding balances
  • Providing patients with information about our treatments, services, and fees
  • Liaising with dentists, doctors, nurses, hygienists, and other members of the clinical team
  • Coordinating patient follow-ups, referrals, and laboratory-related enquiries
  • Handling patient concerns professionally and sensitively
  • Maintaining patient confidentiality at all times
  • Supporting the wider team with administrative and operational duties

About You

We are looking for someone who is:

  • Warm, professional, and confident with patients
  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
  • An excellent communicator, both verbally and in writing
  • Comfortable working in a busy, fast-paced private healthcare environment
  • Able to multitask and prioritise effectively
  • Confident taking payments and discussing appointments, treatments, and fees
  • Reliable, proactive, and willing to support the wider team
  • Comfortable using computerised booking and patient management systems

Previous dental or medical reception experience would be highly advantageous, particularly within a private practice.
