We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Dental Decontamination Technician to join our team.
The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting the delivery of safe, high quality dental care by ensuring all dental instruments and equipment are effectively decontaminated, sterilised, and maintained in accordance with HTM 01-05 and current processes.
- Utilising specialised decontamination equipment.
- Ensure used equipment and instruments are cleaned, sterilised and repackaged.
- Undertake frequent testing of specialised decontamination equipment and pressurised vessels to ensure that these items of equipment are functioning correctly.
- Ensure a smooth and efficient running of the Dental service.
- It is a requirement for this role that the successful candidate is appropriately vaccinated to carry out this role once induction and on site training is complete.
