Role Description
This is a part-time, on-site Dental Hygienist role based at Centre Point Dental in London WC2H 0LA. The Dental Hygienist will perform routine hygiene appointments, including scaling, polishing, and dental prophylaxis, while educating patients on oral health and preventive care. - Assessing periodontal health
- Documenting clinical findings
- Supporting the management of periodontal disease
- Working closely with dentists to coordinate patient treatment plans
The role also involves maintaining infection control standards, ensuring accurate patient records, and contributing to a calm, respectful, and inclusive clinical environment.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Dentistry and Dental Care, with the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary dental team.
- Demonstrated expertise in Hygiene and Dental Prophylaxis, focusing on preventive care and patient education.
- Knowledge and experience in assessing, monitoring, and managing Periodontal Disease as part of comprehensive oral health care.
- Relevant professional registration or license as a Dental Hygienist in the UK, and completion of an accredited dental hygiene program.
- Commitment to high clinical standards, infection control, and patient safety, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work part-time on-site in London, manage time efficiently, and provide inclusive, non-discriminatory care to a diverse patient population.
