Territory Sales Representative, Dental Implants
Dorset & Surrounding Areas | Field Based
Competitive salary package plus benefits
Dental implant experience is highly desirable, although candidates from relevant medical device, dental or orthodontic sales backgrounds will also be considered.
A booming market. A premium product. A territory to make your own.
The UK dental implant market is one of the fastest growing areas in medical sales, expanding strongly year on year and forecast to keep climbing. Our client, a globally recognised dental implant manufacturer, is investing in the South and looking for a commercially driven Territory Sales Representative to own and grow Dorset and the surrounding areas.
This is a genuine opportunity to make your mark: a clinically respected, premium portfolio, strong infrastructure, excellent training and real long-term career potential.
Candidates with proven dental implant sales experience would be particularly attractive, but we are also interested in speaking with successful field sales professionals from closely aligned sectors including dental, orthodontics and medical devices who have the ability to sell complex clinical products and develop strong relationships with healthcare professionals.
The Package
- Competitive salary package
- Uncapped commission and performance-related bonus
- Company car or car allowance plus fully expensed travel
- Laptop, tablet and phone
- Contributory pension
- Structured onboarding and comprehensive product training
Our client is prepared to be genuinely flexible on package for a candidate with the right industry background, sales track record and territory development experience.
The Opportunity
We are looking for an ambitious field sales professional to take ownership of Dorset and the surrounding territory, developing new business and growing existing relationships across private dental practices and referral centres.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.
Ideally, you will already have experience selling dental implants and understand the implant market, clinicians and purchasing process. However, candidates from relevant dental, orthodontic or medical device backgrounds will also be considered where they can demonstrate strong clinical selling skills, new business development and the ability to build credibility with healthcare professionals.
You will be selling on value, not price, representing innovative, clinically backed products at the premium end of the market, where success comes from expertise, relationships and an understanding of your customers rather than discounting.
The Territory
You will take ownership of Dorset and surrounding areas, developing relationships across the region and identifying opportunities to grow the company's presence.
This is a genuinely field-based position and you will need to live within, or within practical travelling distance of, the territory. Success is built through regular face-to-face contact, strong territory management and long-term relationship development.
The Role
This is a field-based territory development role focused on generating new business, growing existing relationships and increasing product adoption across the region.
You will plan and manage your own territory, identify target accounts and opportunities, prospect for new customers, develop relationships with clinicians and practice teams and drive sustainable revenue growth.
The sales process is consultative and can be complex, involving research and prospecting, rapport building, clinical and commercial fact finding, product demonstrations and closing with key decision makers. It moves as quickly as your influence, credibility and product knowledge allow.

This is not a role for someone solely accustomed to managing inherited accounts. We are particularly interested in people who enjoy prospecting, opening doors and developing a territory over time.
Success requires resilience, consistency, professionalism and the confidence to communicate credibly with clinicians and other healthcare professionals.
