Role Description

This full-time Dental Nurse role is an on-site position based at our Sheffield location. The Dental Nurse will support dentists and other clinicians during treatments, prepare and maintain clinical areas, and ensure instruments and equipment are properly cleaned, sterilised, and stored. Day-to-day responsibilities include:

  • Assisting chair-side during procedures
  • Updating patient records
  • Managing appointment preparation
  • Supporting orthodontic treatments when required

  • Maintaining high standards of infection control
  • Reassuring patients throughout their visit
  • Contributing to smooth clinic operations as part of a multidisciplinary team

Qualifications

  • Strong clinical knowledge and practical experience in dentistry and dental care.
  • Demonstrated competence in infection control and decontamination procedures.
  • Experience assisting with orthodontics or a strong interest in developing orthodontic skills.
  • Recognised dental nursing qualification and current professional registration (or eligibility to register).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a patient-centered approach.
  • Ability to work effectively in a busy clinical environment, with strong attention to detail and adherence to safety standards.
  • Willingness to participate in ongoing training and professional development.
  • Previous experience in private practice or multidisciplinary clinical settings is an advantage.
