Role Description

The Dental Nurse will work full-time on-site at the New Life Teeth clinic in Harrogate, supporting dentists and clinical teams in delivering high-quality implant and cosmetic dentistry. Day-to-day responsibilities include:

The role involves providing chairside support, reassuring patients, and helping manage their journey through consultation, treatment, and follow-up care. The Dental Nurse will also assist with orthodontic and general dental care appointments, handle clinical stock and equipment, and coordinate with the wider team to maintain a safe, efficient, and patient-centered environment.

Qualifications

  • Clinical dental skills, including Dentistry and Dental Care, with experience supporting implant, cosmetic, or general dental procedures.
  • Strong Infection Control and Decontamination skills, with adherence to current clinical, regulatory, and safety standards.
  • Knowledge of Orthodontics and the ability to assist during orthodontic assessments and treatments.
  • Recognized Dental Nursing qualification and registration (or eligibility for registration) with the appropriate regulatory body.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a patient-centered approach and the ability to support individuals who may be anxious about treatment.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment, with good organization, attention to detail, and teamwork skills.
  • Experience in implant or cosmetic dentistry, radiography certification, or additional dental nursing courses are beneficial.
