Harley Street is a distinguished dental practice based in the London Area, United Kingdom. Located in one of the city’s most respected medical districts, the practice provides high-quality dental care to a diverse patient base. Joining our Harley Street clinic offers the opportunity to contribute to reputable dental services in a central London setting. He will also work a portion of the week at our Westfield Mall West London practice.

Role Description

This part-time Dental Nurse role is an on-site position based in the London Area, United Kingdom. The Dental Nurse will support dentists and specialists during clinical procedures, prepare treatment rooms, and ensure instruments and materials are ready for each appointment. The role also involves:

  • Managing infection control processes
  • Handling decontamination of equipment
  • Adhering to clinical governance and health and safety standards

Front Desk duties will also be covered in the role. The Dental Nurse will collaborate with the wider team to ensure efficient appointment scheduling, smooth patient flow, and a high standard of patient care. Those willing to work Saturday are desired.

Qualifications

  • Clinical dentistry skills, including Dental Care and Dentistry, with an understanding of chairside assistance and patient support.
  • Knowledge of Infection Control and Decontamination procedures, with the ability to follow established clinical protocols.
  • Experience or familiarity with Orthodontics and related specialist dental treatments.
  • Relevant dental nursing qualification and registration with the appropriate professional body (e.g., GDC in the UK).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a patient-centered approach and the ability to work effectively in a team.
  • Attention to detail, good organizational skills, and reliability in maintaining clinical records and equipment.
  • Previous experience in a dental or healthcare setting is preferred; ongoing commitment to professional development is beneficial.
