The Dental Academy

The Dental Academy provides academic and clinical education to dental professional students in three environments, classroom, simulated laboratory, and clinic, and provides an NHS primary care dental service to patients.

Purpose of the Role

To provide nursing support to staff and students on the dental clinics to ensure an exceptional clinical experience for our students and high-quality service to our patients.

Working Arrangements

This position is working on-site only, so we are unable to support hybrid working for this appointment.

Available Positions

  • 22.2 hours per week - Permanent, term time (41 weeks)
  • 37 hours per week - Fixed term contract for 12 months
  • 37 hours per week - Fixed term contract until 31 January 2027 (or the earlier return of the substantive post holder) to cover a period of maternity leave (delete as required)

We may be able to support offering fractional hours. Please detail in your covering letter the hours you wish to work.

Interviews

The interviews are currently anticipated to be held on 09 September 2026.

Salary Information

Term Time Contract:

  • For salary calculations, you will be paid for 45.92 weeks.
  • The difference between 45.92 and the 41 weeks worked each year covers paid annual leave entitlement and public and statutory holidays.
  • The salary is divided into 12 equal monthly installments.
