We are seeking a motivated, adaptable, and patient-focused Band 4 Dental Nurse to join our hospital dental team in a full-time, permanent position.

This exciting opportunity is for a “Float Dental Nurse”, working flexibly across a wide range of dental specialties. You will play a vital role in supporting clinical teams wherever service demand is highest, ensuring high-quality patient care is consistently delivered.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality chairside support to clinicians across multiple dental specialties
  • Work flexibly across departments including (but not limited to): Oral Surgery, Restorative Dentistry, Orthodontics, Paediatric Dentistry, and Special Care Dentistry
  • Maintain a high standard of infection prevention and control in accordance with TRUST POLICIES
  • Assist in the preparation and maintenance of clinical environments and equipment
  • Deliver excellent patient care, ensuring comfort, dignity, and safety at all times
  • Support clinical teams in managing patient flow efficiently
  • Maintain accurate clinical records in line with Trust standards

About You

We are looking for someone who is:

  • A fully qualified and GDC-registered Dental Nurse
  • Experienced in a hospital or multi-specialty dental setting (desirable)
  • Flexible, adaptable, and able to work across different teams and environments
  • A strong communicator with excellent organisational skills
  • Committed to delivering high standards of patient care
  • Able to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
