Dental Nurse Or Experienced Trainee Dental Nurse
Smilemakers Cosmetic Dental Practice & Referral Centre
Permanent | Full-Time
Love dentistry? Looking for a practice where you can develop your skills and build your career?
At Smilemakers Cosmetic Dental Practice & Referral Centre, we believe exceptional patient care starts with an exceptional team. We’re passionate about creating an environment where our people feel supported, valued and encouraged to grow.
We’re looking for a qualified GDC Registered Dental Nurse or an experienced Trainee Dental Nurse already enrolled on an accredited dental nursing course to join our friendly, supportive and forward-thinking practice.
Whether you’re an experienced Dental Nurse looking for a new challenge or a Trainee Dental Nurse ready to take the next step in your development, this is an exciting opportunity to gain experience within a modern private practice and referral centre.
This is much more than a general nursing role. As part of our 11-surgery practice, you’ll have the opportunity to work alongside experienced clinicians across a wide range of treatments, including general dentistry, hygiene, implants, endodontics and orthodontics.
No two days are the same, and you’ll gain exposure to a variety of treatments, helping you build confidence, develop your skills and broaden your clinical experience in a supportive team environment.
We’re looking for someone who is passionate about dentistry, enjoys learning, takes pride in delivering excellent patient care and wants to be part of a collaborative team.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
