The Role Truly is looking for two qualified Dental Nurses to cover chairside shifts across our smaller clinics: Charlestown, Bray, Citywest, Cherrywood and Donnybrook. These are full-time roles, but not fixed to one surgery. Our smaller clinics run tight teams, and when someone is on leave or a list gets busy, they need a nurse who can walk in and get straight to work.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits
No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.
You will not be doing the same day twice, and by the end of your first few months you will know five teams and five ways of working rather than one. It suits someone who likes variety, reads a room quickly, and would rather be useful in five places than comfortable in one.
Key Responsibilities
- Chairside assistance across general, restorative and hygiene appointments, in whichever clinic you are covering that day
- Picking up the rhythm of a new surgery fast, where things live, how that team runs its lists
- Turning surgeries around between patients and running the decontamination cycle end to end
- Taking and processing radiographs, if you hold the certificate
- Keeping clinical notes accurate and same-day on our practice software
- Flagging stock that is running low in the surgery you are in that day
- Settling anxious patients, a real part of the job here, not an afterthought
Your days and locations vary week to week, and your rota is confirmed in advance so you can plan around it.
What We're Looking For
- Dental Nurse qualification (Irish Diploma in Dental Nursing / NEBDN UK / equivalent) preferred.
- Non-qualified candidates with at least 1 year of dental nursing experience will also be considered.
- Experience across multiple treatments is desirable but not essential (training provided).
- Strong infection control and surgery preparation skills.
- Familiarity with dental software (Dentally preferred, training available).
- Strong communication skills and a patient-first mindset
- Someone comfortable working with a different team each day
- Someone who notices the small things
