We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Band 5 Dental Nurse Team Leader in Community Dental Services based at St Leonard in Inner North East London (INEL).

We are seeking to appoint someone who is passionate about delivering a high-quality standard of care to our patients across the London boroughs of Hackney, Tower Hamlets, and Newham.

The range of services includes Sedation, Special Care Dentistry, Paediatric Dentistry, Domiciliary care, Bariatric, and Dental Mobile service (Homeless/Medium secure unit).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work in a busy environment while remaining calm.
  • Demonstrate a good understanding of and commitment to delivering excellent standards of care.
  • Provide specific responsibility for providing care for Domiciliary/Mobile dental unit.
  • Cover as a Dental Nurse Team Leader at St Leonards clinic when required.
  • Flexibility required to run the Mobile Dental Unit, including early starts.
  • Organisation of the dental kits and materials for Domiciliary team/Dental Mobile.
  • Undertake specific roles as directed by the Practice Manager to support the day-to-day running of the clinics.
  • Provide advice and guidance to frontline staff and line management of dental nurses working on outreach projects.
  • Work in partnership with other Dental Nurse Team Leaders to ensure standardized practices across all sites.
  • Demonstrate strong leadership, the ability to work independently, proactively, and under pressure.
