Trainee Dental Nurse Apprentice
We are looking for a friendly, reliable, punctual, and enthusiastic Trainee Dental Nurse Apprentice to join our modern mixed NHS and private dental practice in central Headington, Oxford.

Wage
- £21,294 a year
- Minimum wage rates (opens in new tab)
- £10.50 per hour
- £409.50 per week
Training Course
- Dental nurse (level 3)
Hours
- 39 Hours per week - no weekends
- Monday: 8.15am - 5.15pm
- Tuesday: 8.15am - 8.00pm
- Wednesday: 8.15am - 5.15pm
- Thursday: 8.15am - 5.15pm
- Friday: 8.15am - 1.00pm

What You'll Do at Work
- Providing chairside support during a range of NHS and private treatments
- Preparing surgeries, instruments, and materials
- Maintaining excellent infection prevention and control standards
- Supporting and reassuring patients
- Maintaining accurate clinical records
- Working closely with dentists and the wider practice team
- Helping ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the practice
- Undertaking additional duties as required, including compliance and administrative tasks

Training will be provided by the Senior Dental Nurses and Dentists on site, paid time for study leave.
Requirements
Essential Qualifications
- GCSE in:
- English (grade 4/C Minimum)
- Maths (grade 4/C Minimum)
Share if you have other relevant qualifications and industry experience. The apprenticeship can be adjusted to reflect what you already know.
