We’re looking for a qualified and patient-focused Dental Nurse to become part of the team at Alexandra Park Dental Care in Glasgow.

This is a full-time opportunity working:

  • Monday - Thursday: 08:50 - 17:30
  • Friday: 08:50–16:30

Based at our practice on Alexandra Parade, our team is committed to delivering outstanding dental care in a professional, welcoming, and comfortable setting for every patient.

The Position

As a Dental Nurse, you’ll support clinicians across daily clinical activities while helping maintain a smooth and efficient patient experience throughout the practice.

  • You’ll work closely with the wider team to ensure surgeries are prepared, patients feel informed and comfortable, and all procedures are delivered safely and in line with clinical and compliance standards.
  • Provide chairside assistance during a range of dental procedures
  • Prepare and organise surgeries for each clinical session
  • Deliver a positive and reassuring patient experience from arrival through to treatment
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient information using Software of Excellence
  • Coordinate equipment, materials and laboratory requirements ahead of appointments
  • Monitor and replenish surgery stock levels as required
  • Support reception activities when needed, including appointment scheduling, telephone enquiries and processing patient payments
  • Follow all clinical governance, infection prevention and health & safety procedures

What We're Looking For

  • Hold current GDC registration
  • Have experience in either NHS, private practice, or both (preferred)
  • Take pride in delivering excellent patient care
  • Can work independently and contribute positively within a team environment
  • Enjoy learning and developing new skills
