Join Alexandra Park Dental Care!
We’re looking for a qualified and patient-focused Dental Nurse to become part of the team at Alexandra Park Dental Care in Glasgow. This role will be a mix of both Dental Nursing and Reception work in our busy practice.
About the Role
This is a full-time opportunity with hours:
- Monday - Thursday: 08:50 – 17:30
- Friday: 08:50 – 16:30
Based at our practice on Alexandra Parade, our team is committed to delivering outstanding dental care in a professional, welcoming, and comfortable setting for every patient.
Responsibilities
As a Dental Nurse, you’ll:
- Support clinicians across daily clinical activities while maintaining a smooth and efficient patient experience.
- Work closely with the team to ensure:
- Surgeries are prepared for appointments
- Patients feel informed and comfortable
- All procedures are delivered safely and in line with clinical and compliance standards
- Chairside assistance during a range of dental procedures
- Prepare and organise surgeries for each clinical session
- Deliver a positive patient experience from arrival through to treatment
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records using Software of Excellence
- Coordinate equipment, materials, and laboratory requirements ahead of appointments
- Monitor and replenish surgery stock levels
- Support reception duties, including:
- Appointment scheduling
- Handling telephone enquiries
- Processing patient payments
- Follow all clinical governance, infection prevention, and health & safety procedures

Requirements
- Hold current GDC registration
- Have experience in either NHS, private practice, or both (preferred)
- Take pride in delivering excellent patient care
- Ability to work independently and contribute positively in a team environment
- Enthusiasm for learning and developing new skills
