Vacancy Introduction

We are pleased to announce a fantastic opportunity for a full-time Band A Dental Officer to join the Leeds Community Healthcare NHS Trust based in the Community Dental Service, for a full-time 1.0 WTE (37.5hrs) permanent post.

We are a consultant-led, referral only service which provides NHS dental care for children & adults who have treatment needs which can’t be met in general dental practice. The Dental Officer will provide dental care in our clinics located throughout the city (currently Chapeltown, Middleton & Yeadon). The post may also involve supporting in general anaesthetic theatres within Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust and domiciliary visits.

Clinical facilities within our service include: surgeries equipped with ceiling track hoists, a wheelchair recliner and bariatric bench, the provision of inhalation and intravenous sedation, and access to comprehensive care under GA. Other duties will include working in partnership to provide clinical support to the full dental team.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
