Role Description
This is a part-time, on-site Dental Practice Manager role based in Anstey. The Dental Practice Manager will oversee daily operations of the practice, including appointment scheduling, patient flow management, and front-desk coordination. The role involves supervising administrative staff, supporting clinicians with operational needs, and maintaining accurate patient records and documentation. The manager will handle billing and payment processes, coordinate with external partners and suppliers, and ensure compliance with relevant dental regulations and practice policies. Additional responsibilities include monitoring practice performance, supporting quality improvement initiatives, and contributing to a positive, patient-centered environment.

- Proven experience in practice management, healthcare administration, or a similar operational leadership role in a clinical setting.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple activities efficiently.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with patients, clinicians, and administrative staff.
- Competence with practice management software, patient record systems, and standard office applications (e.g., word processing, spreadsheets).
- Knowledge of basic financial processes such as invoicing, payment handling, and budget awareness within a healthcare environment.
- Understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements relevant to dental or healthcare practices, including confidentiality and data protection.
- Ability to lead and support a team, resolve conflicts constructively, and contribute to a respectful, inclusive workplace culture.
- Previous experience in a dental or medical practice setting and relevant qualifications in business, healthcare administration, or management are beneficial.
