Dental Receptionist - The Parks Dental & Skin Clinic, Kingswood, Hull

As the face of our practice, you'll play an important role in creating a warm, friendly and professional experience for every patient.
Whether you already have reception experience or you're looking for a new career in healthcare, we'd love to hear from you. Previous dental experience isn't essential, as full training will be provided for the right person.

About The Role
As a Dental Receptionist, you'll be responsible for delivering a five-star patient experience from the moment patients contact or visit the practice. Your duties will include:

- Welcoming patients and creating a positive first impression
- Managing appointment bookings and maintaining an efficient diary
- Responding to enquiries in person, over the telephone, by email and via social media
- Supporting patients throughout their journey within the practice
- Processing payments and maintaining accurate patient records
- Liaising with clinicians and colleagues to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the practice
- Supporting the team in delivering exceptional patient care
We're happy to offer a little flexibility around the start time where possible; however, the finish times are fixed to meet the needs of the practice.
About You
We're looking for someone who is friendly, approachable and passionate about delivering excellent customer service. You'll be organised and able to work efficiently in a busy environment, with the confidence to communicate professionally with patients both face-to-face and over the telephone. You'll be comfortable using computer systems and learning new software, while bringing excellent communication skills and a positive, team-focused attitude. Most importantly, you'll be eager to learn, develop and build a rewarding career within a healthcare setting.
Previous experience in reception or customer service is essential and dentistry is advantageous. We do provide full training, so we're looking for someone with the right attitude, enthusiasm and willingness to learn.
