Join us! We're looking to welcome a full-time Receptionist to the team at City Dental, part of Clyde Munro. This opportunity has arisen as a result of the continued growth and expansion of the practice.

City Dental is a busy, modern practice providing a wide range of treatments, including sedation, oral surgery, dental implants, and SureSmile short-term orthodontics. This varied role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with patients, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is looking to broaden their skills while being part of a friendly and supportive team.

Conveniently located in the heart of Glasgow city centre, the practice is within easy walking distance of a variety of shops, cafés, and local amenities. It also benefits from excellent transport links, making it easily accessible by both car and public transport.

The Position

In this role, you'll be responsible for delivering a high standard of front-of-house service, ensuring every patient receives a warm, professional experience that reflects our practice values. You'll also support the team in maintaining compliance with all relevant health and safety procedures.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Greeting patients in a friendly and welcoming manner, helping them feel comfortable from the moment they arrive.
  • Using Software of Excellence effectively to keep patient records accurate, up to date, and well maintained.
  • Handling incoming telephone enquiries, booking appointments, and processing patient payments.
  • Keeping the reception area clean, organised, and presentable to create a positive first impression and reinforce confidence in the practice.
  • Coordinating clinicians' appointment schedules to maximise surgery efficiency, support productivity, and ensure patients can access appointments that meet their needs.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
