Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Dental Receptionist role based in Monument Dental Studio in Peterborough. The Dental Receptionist will greet and check in patients, manage the front desk, and ensure a positive and professional experience at every visit. Daily tasks include answering phone calls, responding to inquiries, scheduling and confirming appointments, updating patient records, and coordinating with dental professionals to support patient flow. The role also involves processing payments and maintaining an organized reception and waiting area. The Dental Receptionist will work closely with the dental team to communicate appointment changes, support adherence to practice procedures, and provide clear information to patients about their visits.

Qualifications

- Strong receptionist and front desk skills, including managing patient check-in/check-out and general Receptionist Duties.
- Proficiency in Appointment Scheduling and maintaining accurate calendars for dental providers.
- Professional Phone Etiquette and clear Communication skills for interacting with patients and team members.
- Basic understanding of Dental Care terminology and willingness to learn practice-specific procedures.
- Attention to detail and ability to work accurately with patient information and billing processes.
- Comfort using practice management or scheduling software; basic computer literacy (email, data entry).
- Prior experience in a healthcare or dental reception role is beneficial but not required.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality, demonstrate empathy, and support a respectful, inclusive patient environment.
