Family Dental Care (FDC) provides high-quality NHS and private dental care to patients of all ages in Chessington. The practice offers a full range of services, including general dentistry, dental implants, orthodontics, teeth whitening, Invisalign, hygiene services, emergency dental care, and facial aesthetics. FDC is known for its friendly, experienced team and patient-centered approach, focusing on comfort, clear communication, and tailored treatment plans. New patients are welcome and can book appointments online or by phone, making access to care straightforward and convenient.
Role Description
This is a part-time, on-site Dental Receptionist role based in London. The Dental Receptionist will greet patients, manage check-in and check-out processes, and ensure a welcoming and professional front-desk experience. Responsibilities include:

Qualifications
- Strong Appointment Scheduling skills, including managing calendars, coordinating follow-up visits, and handling changes efficiently
- Basic Dental Care awareness to understand common treatments, terminology, and patient pathways within a dental practice
- Professional Phone Etiquette skills, including clear communication, polite call handling, and accurate message-taking
- Excellent Communication skills, with the ability to interact respectfully with patients and team members from diverse backgrounds
- Core Receptionist Duties capabilities, such as front-desk management, record keeping, and payment handling
- Relevant experience in a dental, medical, or healthcare reception environment is beneficial
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a busy setting are desirable
- Proficiency with basic computer applications and practice management or booking systems is an advantage
- Training or qualifications in customer service, administration, or healthcare support are beneficial
