We are excited to be looking for a Receptionist to join our friendly and welcoming team on a part-time basis at our Dollar practice! The hours for this role will be Tuesdays (7:45am - 5:30pm) & Thursdays (08:45 - 6:30pm).
Since 1985, Dollar Dental Care & Implant Centre has been a reliable source of top-tier family dentistry services. We are a great team and pride ourselves on our warm, caring environment. Our unwavering commitment revolves around delivering the utmost standards of dental well-being and ease within a vibrant and welcoming ambience.
We offer a range of services that span general dentistry care, comprising dental examinations and hygiene sessions, as well as cosmetic dentistry remedies like teeth whitening.
Your Role
You will be instrumental in providing a professional reception service and ensuring excellent patient care in line with our practice values. Your responsibilities will include:
- Welcoming patients warmly and helping them feel comfortable and looked after from the moment they arrive
- Creating a professional, calm and inviting reception environment
- Managing patient enquiries in person, by telephone and through email
- Coordinating appointments and maintaining well-organised clinician diaries
- Managing patient check-in and check-out and ensuring their journey through the practice runs smoothly
- Building positive relationships with patients
- Processing payments and supporting patients with general queries
- Maintaining accurate and confidential patient records
- Proactively following up with patients where appropriate
- Taking ownership of patient queries and helping resolve concerns professionally and sensitively
- Ensuring the reception and patient areas are beautifully presented and reflect the standards of our private practice
- Supporting general administration and the wider day-to-day running of the practice

About You
You'll be someone who genuinely enjoys working with people and understands the difference that thoughtful, attentive service can make.
Applications from GDC registered candidates or those with existing experience working in a practice environment is preferred, but not essential.
