The Dental Surgery Brook Lane
Full-time | Felixstowe, England | On-site
We are looking for a caring, motivated, and reliable Dental Receptionist / Dental Nurse to join our friendly team.
No previous dental experience is required — full training will be provided. We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic about dentistry, enjoys working with patients, and is keen to learn and develop their skills.
🦷 Dental Nursing Responsibilities
- Assisting the dentist during dental treatments
- Preparing surgeries and equipment before appointments
- Cleaning, sterilising, and preparing dental instruments
- Maintaining high standards of infection prevention and control
- Preparing materials and equipment for treatments
- Supporting the dentist and wider clinical team
- Providing reassurance and support to patients throughout their appointments
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and well-organised clinical environment
- Following practice procedures and health & safety requirements

📞 Reception Responsibilities
- Welcoming patients and providing a friendly first point of contact
- Answering telephone calls and patient enquiries
- Booking and managing appointments
- Taking payments and handling general reception duties
- Updating patient records and completing administrative tasks
- Liaising with patients and the clinical team to ensure the smooth running of the practice
