About the role

As a Haleon Expert Healthcare Professional Consultant, you will build strong relationships with dental healthcare professionals and help them understand Haleon’s oral healthcare brands, including Sensodyne, Corsodyl and Pronamel. You will share product science, explain patient benefits, and support healthcare professionals so they feel confident recommending Haleon products to their patients.

Key responsibilities

Building relationships with customers

  • Deliver high-quality educational sessions for dental healthcare professionals, both face to face and remotely. This may include one-to-one meetings, lunch and learn sessions, larger group meetings and approved digital engagement.
  • Make sure every customer interaction is clear, professional and valuable.
  • Keep accurate records of your calls, plans and activities using Haleon systems.
  • Support relevant events, exhibitions and PR activities where needed.
  • Share useful updates from your territory, including customer feedback, competitor activity and ideas to improve how the field team works.
  • Be flexible when needed, which may include overnight stays, evenings or weekend work. You will always be expected to follow Haleon’s ethics and code of conduct policies.

Planning your territory

  • Plan your work in line with Haleon’s healthcare professional, field sales and wider business priorities.
  • Create and deliver a territory business plan that helps you reach and engage the right healthcare professionals.

Influencing and working with others

  • Identify opportunities to support dental healthcare professionals and help them make informed recommendations for their patients.
  • Work with practice managers, team leaders and business owners to organise educational meetings, including lunch and learn sessions.
  • Act as a positive ambassador for Haleon and demonstrate our behaviours in your day-to-day work.

Commercial understanding

  • Explain the commercial and patient benefits of Haleon brands clearly to customers and internal teams.
  • Use your time and company resources effectively.
  • Deliver your individual targets and contribute to the wider field team’s goals.

Qualifications and skills

Essential

  • A degree or experience in the dental industry.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, both face to face and remotely.
  • A full UK driving licence and the right to work in the UK.

Preferred

  • Experience in the dental industry or previous sales representative experience.
  • Experience in a field-based healthcare professional or commercial role, ideally within consumer healthcare, oral healthcare or FMCG.
  • Confidence presenting to different audience sizes.
