Role Overview

To provide high-quality, safe, and effective urgent dental care to patients presenting with acute dental problems, including pain, infection, trauma, and swelling. The role focuses on immediate treatment and stabilisation rather than routine or ongoing care. The post holder will provide clinical teaching for students across all the dental programmes attached to the unscheduled care service on occasion and undertake clinical administrative duties as appropriate.

Job Details

  • Work Location: On-site only, no hybrid working.
  • Contract Type: Fixed-term contract for 12 months.
  • DBS Check: Enhanced with child and adult barred list required.

Salary Information

New appointments will routinely be made to the entry spine point (minimum) for the advertised grade, from where the individual will progress through the pay range to the maximum for the grade, within a reasonable timeframe. This ensures fairness, consistency, and transparency in our pay structures. A higher starting salary or market supplement may be available for a truly exceptional candidate when circumstances fully justify a departure from our normal policy.
