Job Introduction
Dentist Pay Co-ordinator (Payroll Administrator)
Location: Work from home – Occasional travel to Northampton, NN4 5EZ
Part time – 3 Days

We are looking for a detailed, systems and process orientated Payroll Administrator to join our Finance team. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your finance career in a busy team. And if you’ve got Dental Pay experience, it will be highly beneficial.
What You'll Be Doing
- Review dentists' charging records to ensure accuracy, identifying and correcting any discrepancies, ensuring strict deadlines are met.
- Process dentists' pay accurately and efficiently, maintaining consistency across the portfolio.
- Work closely with clinicians and operational teams to resolve payroll and system-related queries.
- Update payroll systems with ad hoc sessions, working hours, and deductions.
- Maintain the accuracy of the dentist pay database by monitoring missing rates, investigating negative pay, and ensuring HR systems are up to date and aligned.
- Prepare and review pay statements, ensuring they are clear, accurate, and issued on time.
- Verify that all dentists hold the correct Performer Number and that records are maintained accurately.
- Provide general administrative support and assist with ad hoc projects and tasks as required.

Essential
What we're looking for
- Previous experience in a finance, payroll, or accounts environment.
- Experience in an administrative role with strong attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with experience liaising with stakeholders via email and telephone.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and work accurately to deadlines.

Desirable
- Experience using dental finance or payroll systems.
- Previous experience working within a dental or healthcare organisation.
- Knowledge of NHS dental payment processes or performer records.
