Role Description
This is a part-time, on-site Dentist role based at our practice in Kettering. The Dentist will provide comprehensive clinical care, including examinations, diagnosis, treatment planning, restorative procedures, preventive care, and referrals when necessary. Daily responsibilities include delivering high-quality patient-centered treatment, maintaining accurate and timely clinical records, and ensuring adherence to infection control and safety protocols. The role involves communicating clearly with patients about treatment options, educating them on oral health and preventive care, and working collaboratively with the dental team to provide a calm, supportive environment. The Dentist will also contribute to ongoing service improvement by sharing feedback and participating in team discussions about patient experience and clinical best practices.

Qualifications

- Current registration with the General Dental Council (GDC) and eligibility to practice dentistry in the UK.
- Strong clinical skills in general dentistry, including examination, diagnosis, restorative treatments, preventive care, and basic emergency management.
- Proficiency in patient communication, with the ability to explain treatment options clearly, build trust, and support patients with dental anxiety.
- Commitment to high standards of infection control, health and safety, and evidence-based clinical practice.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary dental team and contribute to a friendly, respectful workplace culture.
- Good organizational and time-management skills, including accurate record-keeping and efficient appointment management.
- Experience in a community-focused or patient-centered practice environment is beneficial.
- Willingness to participate in continuing professional development and stay current with advances in dentistry.
