Deployed Support Specialist
Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Deployed Support Specialist to support a company focused on delivering mission-critical network and communications support to U.S. Marine Corps operations worldwide. This position is on-site at Newport, RI or Pearl Harbor, HI. The Deployed Support Specialist will provide technical network guidance during deployment planning and deliver hands-on support for enterprise networking environments during operational execution. Responsibilities
- Provide network technical advice and support during deployment planning, exercises, and contingency operations.
- Configure, install, maintain, and troubleshoot routers, firewalls, IDS/IPS, DNS, Active Directory, Exchange, and related network infrastructure.
- Coordinate rapid resolution of network and system issues affecting deployed units.
- Support deployment logistics, including hardware/software identification, transportation coordination, import permits, visas, and foreign country clearance requirements.
- Develop and assist with Information Assurance (IA) training, post-deployment reviews, D-30 process support, and documentation of deployment activities.

Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience providing deployed network and technical support.
- Experience supporting routers, firewalls, IDS/IPS, DNS, Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange, and enterprise networking environments.
- Strong troubleshooting, deployment planning, documentation, and operational support skills.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Active Secret security clearance required.
- IAT Level II certification required (CompTIA Security+ CE or equivalent).
- OEM network support certification required, such as Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA).
- Microsoft or Cisco operating system/application certification preferred.

Compensation
- Salary Range: $55,000 - $65,000, depending on experience
- Full Benefits Package: PTO, Paid Holidays, Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, Tuition Reimbursement, Sick Leave as required by law
