We are supporting a leading technology services organisation working on large-scale end-user computing and workplace technology programmes.

Job Details

  • Start Date: ASAP
  • End Date: 31/07/2027
  • Location: Derby (Full-Time Onsite)
  • Non negotiables: Active SC Clearance, UK born only

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and configure new Windows 11 devices using standardised images and deployment task sequences.
  • Enrol devices into Microsoft Intune, Autopilot and other endpoint management platforms where applicable.
  • Install and configure core business applications, including Microsoft 365, VPN clients, security software and business-critical applications.
  • Deploy Windows 11 devices to end users in line with project rollout schedules.
  • Decommission legacy Windows 10 devices in accordance with IT asset and security policies.
  • Perform user data backup, restoration and migration activities.
  • Securely wipe and dispose of devices using approved processes and tools.
  • Remove retired devices from asset management and endpoint management systems.
  • Coordinate laptop and hardware deployment activities across multiple users and locations.
  • Carry out IT equipment installations, moves, additions, changes and end-of-life support activities.
  • Work closely with engineers, project teams and stakeholders to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
  • Maintain accurate asset records, deployment trackers and project documentation.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Experience deploying and supporting Windows 10/11 environments.
  • Exposure to Microsoft Intune, Autopilot, SCCM, or similar endpoint management solutions.
  • Strong device build, deployment and refresh experience.
  • Knowledge of hardware lifecycle management, secure data wiping and asset management processes.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced onsite deployment environment.
