Role

The Deployment Engineer will be responsible for the deployment of approximately 35 desktops, with the potential for additional devices throughout the contract.

  • Manage phone upgrades and device deployments, ensuring all hardware is configured, deployed and documented to a high standard.
  • Provide hands-on endpoint deployment and support within a fast-paced financial services environment.
  • Manage high volumes of deployment activity while maintaining a consistently high standard of delivery.
  • Provide white-glove support to senior stakeholders, delivering a professional and customer-focused service at all times.
  • Work closely with internal IT teams and stakeholders to coordinate deployments and minimise disruption.
  • Ensure all devices are correctly configured, deployed and recorded within asset management processes.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve deployment and endpoint-related issues quickly and effectively.
  • Be flexible with working hours, including occasional earlier starts where required. Additional time will be compensated.

Profile

  • Proven experience in a Deployment Engineer, EUC Engineer, Desktop Engineer or similar endpoint-focused role.
  • Strong practical experience with Windows Autopilot and Microsoft Intune.
  • Experience with SCCM/Microsoft Configuration Manager.
  • Good general knowledge of Windows desktop deployment and endpoint management.
  • Experience supporting hardware refreshes, device rollouts and/or mobile phone deployments.
  • Some experience with asset management would be beneficial.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide a white-glove service to senior stakeholders.
  • Comfortable working in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Professional, reliable and flexible, with experience working within a financial services or similarly professional environment desirable.
