Deployment Manager – Windows 11 Device Refresh
Location: Morden – 5 days per week onsite
Rate: £450 per day – Inside IR35
Contract: 3–6 months
Our client, an enterprise corporation currently embarking upon enterprise transformation, is looking for an experienced Deployment Manager to lead the onsite delivery of a large-scale Windows 11 device refresh programme across approximately 2,100 users/devices.
Working alongside the Programme Manager and third-party engineering partner, you will take ownership of the day-to-day deployment operation, ensuring rollout waves are effectively planned, coordinated, and delivered with minimal disruption to users.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the onsite Windows 11 device deployment, coordinating third-party engineers and internal teams.
- Own deployment scheduling, wave planning, and user appointment fulfillment across multiple departments and locations.
- Ensure readiness across devices, Intune/Autopilot, applications, and user communications ahead of each deployment wave.
- Act as the key interface between users, business stakeholders, technical teams, and the delivery partner.
- Manage deployment issues, failed migrations, and remediation through to resolution.
- Track daily deployment volumes, risks, and issues, providing clear progress reporting to the Programme Manager.

Key Requirements:
- Previous experience managing large-scale Windows device deployments or refresh programmes (500+ devices).
- Experience with Windows 10/11 migrations and a good understanding of Microsoft Intune and Autopilot.
- Strong experience managing third-party deployment/engineering teams.
- Excellent scheduling, stakeholder management, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Public sector/local government experience would be highly desirable.
- Must be comfortable working 5 days per week onsite in Morden.
This is a hands-on, delivery-focused role requiring someone who can operate at pace and ensure a complex device rollout remains on schedule.
