Employment: Full-time, permanent

Hiring: 1 candidate

Experience: 3–5 years

Degree: Engineering or Physical Sciences – Civil, Mechanical, Electrical or Chemical

About the role

This is a hands-on, high-ownership engineering/project management role suited to someone who enjoys working in the field, managing multiple stakeholders and subcontractors, and delivering complex physical infrastructure under tight deadlines.

The role reports directly to the Head of Deployment and will play an important part in supporting Rivan’s expansion from its current UK projects to larger-scale deployments across Europe.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage overall project delivery from the London factory through to field deployment.
  • Coordinate project timelines, Gantt charts, milestones and dependencies.

  • Manage civil subcontractors and coordinate multi-trade construction activities.
  • Oversee groundworks, utility connections, wiring, pipeline routes and solar installation.
  • Ensure construction activities comply with CDM Regulations and UK Health & Safety requirements.
  • Work closely with production and permitting teams to align manufacturing and deployment schedules.
  • Act as the key link between the London factory, development teams and field operations.
  • Spend significant time on project sites, primarily in Swindon.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
