Founding Deployment Strategist

London (Vauxhall), on site 5 days
£70K to £150K base + meaningful equity

A stealth AI startup is hiring its first deployment hire, and this is a rare opportunity.

The company

  • $8.5M raised from Kleiner Perkins and Creandum
  • Already live with 3 of the top 10 insurance brokers in the world (over $150B combined market cap) while still in stealth
  • More demand than the team can serve
  • Founders met at Oxford and previously helped scale an AI startup to a $20M Series A led by Index Ventures

The role

  • You'll own pilots end to end, working directly with the founders to get AI agents live inside some of the largest brokerages globally.
  • Run 1 to 2 enterprise pilots at a time and be the face of the product on site
  • Translate complex broker workflows into product requirements for engineers
  • Convert pilots into full deployments and expand into new lines of business
  • Build demos and prototypes with Claude and Cursor
  • Write the playbook for how the company scales

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

You might be a fit if you have

  • 2 to 6 years as a deployment strategist or forward deployed person at a high-growth startup, OR as an MBB consultant (BA to Manager), OR as a banker at a bulge bracket or elite boutique
  • A degree from a top university (Oxbridge, Imperial, UCL, LSE, Ivy League or similar)
  • Real AI fluency: you build things with Claude or Cursor, enter hackathons, or run side projects
  • High EQ and the ability to win over skeptical senior stakeholders
  • Comfort with extreme ambiguity and no playbook
