Evri continues to grow as one of the leading parcel businesses in the UK. We have a great opportunity for a Depot General Manager to manage one of our larger Depots in Eurocentral, one of the largest industrial estates in Scotland. The role will be accountable for 100+ heads, a multi-million £ operating budget and a transport function with a large fleet of commercial vehicles.

The Depot General Manager will be responsible for leading the team, operational management, financial control, compliance, safety all whilst driving a continuous improvement agenda that allows us to continually strive towards making Evri a great place to work. In addition to your team, you’ll be joining a team of 26 Logistics professionals who are responsible for managing our Depot network across the country.
Our Depot Manager job is for someone who leads through their people, who can balance priorities, who is always looking for the next opportunity in all areas whether that be financial, operational improvement, team effectiveness, likes pace, and one who wants to join a network of likeminded individuals working towards one goal.

Responsibilities:
- Manage a team of 4 Direct Reports and a team of up to 100 indirect reports providing leadership and direction for the shift
- Ensure Depot meets client SLA’s and budgetary targets
- Ensure compliance with all site HSES rules and regulations
- Manage individual project priorities, deadlines and deliverables.

Experience/Qualifications:
- Management experience of leading and managing a team
- Experience of managing operational budgets and targets
- Must be able to work on own initiative in a pressurised environment to tight deadlines
- PC Literate with a working knowledge of Microsoft office
- An understanding of Transport regulations
- Good communicator and able to liaise at all levels
- Flexible approach to work to meet business requirements
