About the Role

Run your own depot. Grow your team. Deliver exceptional customer service.

As Depot Manager at the Taunton depot, you'll be responsible for leading a successful local depot operation, delivering outstanding customer service while driving operational performance, profitability, and growth.

This is a visible, hands-on leadership role where you'll be right in the thick of the action. You'll build strong customer relationships, lead from the front, and create a culture where every colleague keeps the customer at the heart of what we do.

What You'll Be Responsible For

  • Leading a safe, compliant, and customer-focused depot operation.
  • Delivering depot revenue, profitability, and operational targets.
  • Driving a customer-first culture throughout the depot team.
  • Building strong relationships with local customers and resolving issues quickly and professionally.
  • Identifying opportunities to grow market share and local business performance.
  • Coaching, developing, and motivating colleagues to create a high-performing team.
  • Managing fleet, people, and operational resources to meet customer demand.
  • Using performance data and KPIs to drive continuous improvement.
  • Ensuring the depot operates safely and efficiently while delivering excellent customer service.
